Hello,

I am having a difficult time identifying (without a schematic) the number of capacitors wrapped up in this rectangular box on the top of the chassis.

There are 6 wires coming out of it and I've identified that there are at least 2 separate caps.

What I need help with is: are there more than 2 caps

What are the possible values for these

I've enclosed some pictures!

Thanks for your consideration!

It's got a voltage doubler, so probably at least one cap  has a separate connections to the others.

Likely there are 4 to 6 capacitors and values of 8uF to 16uF.

If it's pitch filled it can set in and old pot on supports and heated (electric grill, oven, heat gun, not microwave or gas).

Then you'll find what is in it. Often with suitable DC via current limit resistors old Electrolytics reform. They need replaced even on oldest sets much less often than paper dielectric non-polarised types, if they haven't dried out.

Hi,

this definitively is a voltage doubler circuitry. The enclosed schematics shows a similar arrangement with a dual 25Z5 rectifier (both diode sections are connected in parallel) and a type 43 final tube. Watch the capacitor from screen to plate.
