sony: Dating this radio

Has anyone got a reference to the date of this radio. This is a "transision" device with silicon transistors in the RF and IF stages but germanium ones in the AF end.

Catalogue entry is 1971 and the European/UK model (SW, not LW) is page 680 1971-1972 R&TVS and that book doesn't have the 6R-24L.

Woule you consider adding that info to the RMord database? It fits with the transistor useage.

My focus is on Australian made transistor radios and I bought this to sacrifice it for the AF germanium transistors but found, later, that the RF/IF devices are silicon.

I will now put this to the next HRSA auction.
