I am in possession of an attractive little pocket radio which seems to have been made in the 1960s and cannot be identified.  On the front it says: "DeForest All Transistor" and on the scale: "Made in Holland". The scale is round, and instead of MW/LW it says: "Broadcast" and "Beacon Band". It has seven transistors: 2N412, 2x2N410, OC71A, OC71 plus 2 output transistors which I can't identify.

Does anyone recognise this radio?  Please see attached picture.

The attached picture of your DeForest (De Forest) All Transistor radio leads me direct to this Philips radio L0X90T named "Fanette". Please compare the position of the controls and have a look at the interior. Most probably it was produced for the north american market, the dial markings "C D" (stands for Civil Defense) is truly a hint. The two output transistors must be 2x OC72.

Since this very nice looking transistor radio isn't listed here in the RMorg database, a new model suggestion would be appreciated.

Many thanks - you are quite right! The chassis of the two radios are identical, apart from a few insignificant details. The case and the loudspeaker of the DeForest are slightly larger.

I'll have another go at getting the set listed, with Philips as manufacturer and " DeForest All Transistor" as the name of the model. Until now I had assumed that DeForest was the manufacturer. Thanks again for putting me right.
