Hello. It appears that this model is a duplicate of the 453-P. It should definitely be called a "Radiola" though.

Hello Stewart,
I think there are two different models.
The model 453P with only medium wave.
And the model Radiola 453P with medium wave and short wave.
The pictures on both models shows the 453PZ, this is wrong.
Look at the stump with the type on the chassis.
Regards WB.

Hello WB. There are two models, but both are dual wave. The suffix "Z" and "Y" etc. used by AWA on their model numbers are for versions that differ slightly from the original, not by a major amount, such as one being DW and the other BC only. The MW only version of the 453P is the 452P.
The photos in both models are for the 453PZ, as you point out, so maybe one model entry should be changed to 453PZ and the photos from the other transferred over to that model. I don't know what the actual difference between the 453P and 453PZ is, but it is likely to be minor, such as revised resistor values, but I do not have this information.

Model 453 ...
Hello Stewart,
I tried to bring order to the models, but that was unfortunately not desired.
So we have the models Amalgamate 453-P and Amalgamate Radiola 453P with the same view and the type designation MODEL 453 PZ on the chassis and RADIOLA on the scale and in the circuit diagram.
I corrected the waves, but unfortunately I could not do more for your question.
Sorry WB.
