I am in possession of an Espey Mod. 105 tube tester and looking for any technical references, especially the Technical Manual TM 11-2516.

Any further information regarding this device will be highly appriceated.

Kind Regards,

Have you tried http://home.att.net/~btuttleman2/electron.html?  This guy claims to have the manual and the schematic.  Good luck!

Hi Michele,

thanks for your kind research, I contacted him one week ago, but did not receive any answer until now.

So if anybody knows another source, please let me know.

Best Regards,

Check to see if the Hickock I-177B, is the same as the Espey 105

Hi Omer,

I know the I-177B, but the Espey 105 has more similarities with the TV-7/U, e.g the same short lamp, the same fuse lamp and the same noise circuit using an external headset to detect microphony. One difference is, that the Espey 105 uses a roll chart (I-177 and TV-7/U don't) and has different colored sockets for different tube types using the same socket type. It has no switches, like the I-177B or TV-7/U to select the correct tube pin layout and therefore can only test those tubes, which are printed on the roll chart.

Hi

Don't know whether following site is to some help, but instead of the TM 11-2516 you'll find the TM 11-2517 concerning the Espey 105 tube tester. The heading looks like this:

Tube Tester Espey Model 105, 44 pages.
PB 22202 - BSIR 2(1):30; 07/05/46
Technical Manual, TM 11-2517 Tentative, 44.

And the URL: http://jeep-radio-ww2.ifrance.com/tm11.htm

regards
Lars-G

Hi Lars-G,

I think this is a typing error, because the TM-2517 (Tentative) deals with the Supreme Model 504-A tube tester:
