Why fake?
There was a USA Grundig badged version of the Etón, the Sirus XM option only worked in USA of course.
It seems merely very much overpriced.
How would it be a fake?

Grundig Satellit 900 - Eton E1 - differences
At the occasion that I could lay hands on an Eton E1 radio, I had a look to the rm.org forum contributions about this receiver. It's very interesting to see the image from the eBay advertisement: from my point of view, a genuine Grundig Satellit 900 is pictured. It was presented at 1995 Berlin Radio Fair; I have an old TIF image from that times, it looks identical, specially the LCD display. You can also recognize the RDS logo (Radio Data System), the original Grundig Satellit has an integrated RDS, and the Eton E1 has not.
On all other images you see no RDS logo and the more modern dot matrix display as found on all Eton E1 radios, it can be easily distinguished from the display content on the eBay advert.
And from that point of view, the price asked for one of the very few preseries Sat 900s was not that bad. We hope the set does still exist and maybe some more images turn up.
Kind regards from Switzerland
Martin
