funke: Funke w16 Einheitsprüfgerate headphones problem

Dear colegues,

I have funke w16 for tube testing. It works all fine, but last week I bought Telefunken D.R.G.M 2000Ohm headphones to check tubes for microphonia. I have pluged in the connectors and during testing I hear very strong low frequency hum. I tested EL12  and EL11 tube, also I checked EF12, but still the same result. I tapped on the tube with pen and I had very weak reply in the headset, but the strong humming is very significant. I have checked the winding of the choke and all shows good results. Primar 500 and 100 Ohm and secondary 1960 Ohm (1700 is in schalter plan). Would you have any experience with this? I would be happy with any help from you. Thank you  Vaclav P.

Ich habe funke w16 für Röhrentests. Es funktioniert alles gut, aber letzte Woche habe ich Telefunken D.R.G.M 2000Ohm gekauft, um Röhren auf Mikrophonie zu untersuchen. Ich habe die Stecker eingesteckt und höre beim Testen ein sehr starkes niederfrequentes Brummen. Ich habe die Röhren EL12 und EL11 getestet, auch EF12, aber immer noch das gleiche Ergebnis. Ich habe mit dem Stift auf die Röhre getippt und im Headset eine sehr schwache Antwort erhalten, aber das starke Summen ist sehr deutlich. Ich habe die Wicklung der Drossel geprüft und alles zeigt gute Ergebnisse. Primar 500 und 100 Ohm und sekundär 1960 Ohm (1700 ist in schalter plan). Würdest du irgendwelche Erfahrungen damit haben? Ich würde mich über jede Hilfe von Ihnen freuen. Vielen Dank, Vaclav P.

The german manual says: "Ob der Lautsprecher bei der Prüfung brummt oder nicht brummt, ist ohne Bedeutung, hat jedenfalls nichts mit guten oder schlechten Eigenschaften der Röhre zu tun."

( Whether the loudspeaker buzzes or does not buzz during the test is irrelevant, has nothing to do with good or bad characteristics of the tube anyway )

Yes, testing works fine. Maybe speaker is usable only for triodes. I will check it. Thank you for the answer!
