Hello,

I'm recapping a Grundig 7063.  Can you tell me if this is a single cap or a small multiple cap canister?

I also noticed polarity.  Is there anything you can tell me about replacing, if indeed I should?

Thank you.

Can't see them too clearly, but...

...those look like simple electrolytics (the pictures aren't very clear, so I can't see the markings on them too well except for the old Siemens logo on the longer one)...perhaps audio tube cathode bypass caps?...The schematic shows a few possibilities: a 50 uF off pin 3 of the EL84 (the aforementioned cathode bypass); a 20uF non-polar going to two of the speakers; or a 10 uF off pin 2 of the EABC80.  There are two other 50 uF electrolytics shown, but those are probably in a two-section can as they are the main B+ filters and will have much higher voltage ratings than the caps you have pictured.

...sorry about the picture, it's actually from another post but very similar to the ones inside the 7063...it's the 50 uf, 15 volt,  I'm changing first and I wanted to know if they were simple electrolytics...they're unique to my experience having only worked on a select few US antiques.

Once I match polarity with the replacement, extend the leads and cover them with tubing I should be set.  Thanks again for the help.
