Does anybody know how this model differs from a model V7, which apparently was produced only in 1955?

Hello Douglas,
I compared the advertisements of Heathkit for V7 (Popular Electronics 01/1956) and V7a (Popular Electronics 02/1956). Prices and features are the same. The only difference I could find is : "The circuit Board is 50% thicker for more rugged physical construction" (for V7a).
