Dear colleagues,

I am slightlly confused by the UKW (AM) 10 Tasten in the Notes - Is it possible the UKW may refer to the very highest frequencies within the Shortwave bands.  The US radio broadcasts were in the earliest years of FM broadcasting. . . is there any correlation to the "frequency modulation" transmissions?

Or is it in reference to the  motorized pre-set tuning (with a sliding disc across opposite sets of high and low sets of contacts?? The operation appears to be somewhat similar to that found in the Grundig 4040/5040/5040 models.

Respectfully,
Robert

hallo Mr. Sarbell,

Franz-Josef

Greetings Herr Haffner,

Thank you so much for the clarification - I understand the frequencies now, since the photos and technical data did not fully clarify the operation; and the radio circuits truly incorporate the "mute feature" (interstation suppression) while seeking the next station.

The TV audio would be associated with the early Channel 3 or 4 - is that nearly correct?

From the semi-circular access panel on the ruckwand, it appears as though the station selections may be more easily changed than a competing system.

I have some technical data on the earlier station seeking circuits; but was hoping to locate some specific technical information from the manufacturer Ingelen since there is presently a model Gigant 40W listed on ebaY USA.

Respectfully,
Robert
