braun: Looks like a european rebuild of emerson 747

Does some one know: is this braun radio the same design, only other tubes used, as the emerson 747 ( with sub mini tubes)

Probably not.

There are lots of similarly styled sets. Certain periods of time have particular styles.

There is though a Braun and a Philips that look very insprired by an RCA model. Though the power supply and chassis layouts are different.
