Hello dear all,

I own this model (Majestic Super-B), battery eliminator, or power supply for +B, anyway is the first time I see a old piece like that and I need help, like the schematic or Manual or some other data or knowledge to how can plug my old radio battery sets... please.

This set use a BH type tube.

Majestic Super-B (1926)

Thanks in advance and all the best,

Vitor

Hi Jordan,

Thank you very much... I think this is not enought for my knowledge, becouse I must see the Manual, becouse I must see the way to connect my battery radios with this device and of course, some explanation... this is the best way for me... but seems this is very difficult to find!

thanks anyway, best,

Vitor

Hi Vitor, just follow description below. That should clarify everything:

this is a B power supply, that means for anode voltage supply only (not for filament = A,  and not for grid bias = C).

Neg. = negative = minus (-), common for all voltages.

Det. (+) = for detector = demodulator, audion etc.; usually low voltage (+20 to +40V ?). set by left knob.

Int (+)=  intermediate = IF amp (superhet) , but also for audio (not output!). (usually +40 to +80V ?). set by right knob.

Amp (+)= for (output)amplifier stage , usually +80 to +180V. set by center slide control (switch ?)

Ground connection probably for Protection, respectively Radio ground /earth.

I cannot give the real values. You will have to take measurements in Your particular case.
First of all: To be safe You better check (and replace!) all capacitors
Best,
Kobi
