huth: off/on switch

Was the original off/on switch for the 82 on the power cord?

Dear Mr. Cochrane,

The on/off switch was either on the on the power cord, or directly on the power plug that goes into the radio - my  Huth E112W has an arrangement like that. You can even use a power cord without switch, and plug in the radio for use.

Leaving out the power switch is a cheap concept, but it's one more part that won't fail.
