The Philips model 2003 is a 40 cm loudspeaker. However, two of the pictures (#135320 and #135321) show a 45 cm Philips loudspeaker, most likely a model 2007.

Hi John
The Loudspeaker (I uploaded two weeks ago, Picture #134617 and # 134618) is definitely
a Speaker with a diameter of 45 cm.
When picture (#135320 and #135321) shows also a 45 cm Speaker then it seems to me that all Pictures are wrong connected to the model 2003. If so, then what Model are this Loudspeakers?
Regards,
Klaus

In the meantime I found that Philips made a
model 2015 (1935) with diam. 45.5 cm
and a
model 2007 (1935) with diam 36 cm

Are the Speakers (connected to Model 2003) 2015 models?
Do you have more information about the identification?

Hello Klaus,

Your 45 cm Philips loudspeaker is a model 2006 or a model 2007. You will find data (and pics) of model 2007 at RMorg. The back of the 2006/2007 is quite different from the back of the Philips 2003.

The 2006 is basically the same loudspeaker as the 2007, but it does not feature the coil tap and the 3-way tone switch.

Attached is a Philips 2007 advertisement from 1929

Hi John
Many thanks for your help in this matter. You are right my Philips-Loudspeaker (and pictures #134617 and # 134618) should be a model 2007. One of the Admins has already changed the pictures to the model 2007.
Thanks again and kind regards, Klaus
