philips: Philips L5W34T getting access Volume potentiometer (R31+R32)

Goodmorning,

Subject : repairing Philips L5W34T

The volume control potentiometer (R31+R32) is "scratchy".  I would like to get access to it, in the easiest way, advoiding dismantling un-nessesary parts.

Could some-one give me the right procedure ?

Perhaps you should first try a cleaning spray "TUNER 600" from the company "CRC-Kontakt-Chemie" with the article number 71809-AG.  Greeting Ha-Pe

I already tried such a KF contact product, however :
1-  the access to the pot is masked by metallic support for potentiometers; have a look to the picture
  Philips Belgium: L5W34T /01 [Radio] ID = 2344787, upper right corner.
2- so the spray I send "blind" did not succeed to get any improvment.

This is why I would like to dismount the potentiometer metallic support.
I hope this could be done without interfering with le cord driving the tuning needle display !
