philips: My philips Opera Royal FDK 543A

How come you state that my radion ínformations are wrong. On the Scale glass it states clearly that it is an FDK 543A and so does the type tag inside the radio the serial number is 10910. I can upload pictures of this if you like.

yes, of course, pictures of the type plate/tag are welcome. They will help to clarify that matter... The model Opera Royal FDK543A belongs clearly to Philips Denmark, not Eindhoven.

Hi Bernhard,

Here is a few pictures showing the Name tag and the Price tag in Danish Kr. in 1956, when my father bought it. I am actually done refurbishing it. Got the idler wheel renewed in US and have changed all tubes.
