Salve ai soci, ho acquistato questo ricevitore ed ho notato che monta il BK428 un ballast. Domanda il ballast e' uno stabilizzatore di corrente ? viene solo montato su ricevitori con valvole aventi filamenti in serie ? Volendo questo lo posso sostituire col 6H6 (naturalmente non il doppio diodo, ma il 6H6 ballast) ? Se qualche associato puo risolvermi questi mie dubbi da novello restauratore ... ? distinti saluti a tutti

There is no BK428, but a BK42B... 
It drops 42 Volts at 300 mA.

The 6H6_ballast is for 700 mA at 5.1 - 8.3 V. No way !
You would immediately kill Your other tubes by overheating (115 V for a 74 V circuit =
R.I.P.)

My recommendation:
Insert 125 ohms 12 Watt resistor between pin 3 and 8;
and a 15 ohms 2 Watt resistor between pin 7 and 8 (for the dial lamp).
