I have access to photos of this model. It is an advertizement for Wings Cigarettes and has a light that makes part of the cabinet in the shape of wings glow red.
I have permission to use these pictures.

Can someone look at this please? I believe this is a radio made for advertising Wings cigerettes.

Dear Robin,
The picture you attached shows a sticker of R-28-BW, not BWC. The main difference between the two models is the location of the controls. They are on the side for model BW and on the front for model BWC.
This so far is congruent with the "Wings" radios that can be found today, both versions exist with their respective type stickers.
The RCA service documentation for model BW also states that the receiver "incorporates a Dynamic Loudspeaker as part of the chassis". Clearly that is not the case with your radio. So that leaves some doubt as to the "originality" of the cabinet/chassis combination.
I think we can safely say that both R-28-BW and -BWC were made as promotional items for Wings, but it remains unclear if there was an RCA version of the receiver in a standard cabinet, or if there were other items being made at the time that have the the same chassis.
It appears as if the Wings radios are the only ones.
I'll move this thread to the correct model, and you can upload your images to the model page. Please make a change suggestion adding the details that are still missing. The remarks will have to be updated to reflect the remaining doubts.
Thanks and kind regards
Mark
