HI,
I have a Grundig 4010TB radio with water damage on the top and front of the cabinate. The damage is only in the finish, the wood is not affected. I am looking for adivce on how to remove the damaged finish and what product to use to refinisg to match the rest of the radio.

I found a stripper, CITRISTRIP, Paint & Varnish Stripping Gel. Purchased it at Lowes Home Improvement. Using it on my Silvertone 6362 to remove the old finish. Applying it lightly and using a green stripper pad like the one used in the kitchen to clean pans. So far applying lightly, waiting about 5 minutes, using the pad and then a soft cotton cloth to remove the residue is working well. I taped plastic wrap over the front to keep the cabinet cloth, which is somehow in excellent condition, from being stained.
