Dear Administrators,
Is there any RMorg definitive data to clarify the approval of some specific versions of the export models?
Specifically, I refer to the Freudenstadt variants in which SABA INTERNATIONAL (as printed on the dial glass) appears and is identified on the rear panel as Freudenstadt 12 Stereo.
These export models depict the nomenclature "Freudenstadt" on the left side of the dial, and SABA INTERNATIONAL on the right side of the dial. . . .with the dial glass also depicting STEREO HIFI.
These versions may or may not have the small logo of the SABA US Importers (Lone Pine); but on 2 occasions submissions for acceptance of the models "Freudenstadt 12 Stereo International"; and recently the "Freiburg 14 Automatic International" have been disapproved.
Quite a few of the outstanding SABA exports to the United States have been accepted and approved as distinct models - such as the 100/125, 200, 300-9C, 300-9T, 400-9T, 410, 420, . . . . . . . . . .some others may not have yet appeared (760US, 2050US, 2560US), and possibly a few others.
Respectfully,
Robert Sarbell
