Hello, I just bought a t60 and i think there may be a problem with the dial light. When using the power adapter, and pushing the light button, the lights come on dimly and the radio volume decreases. But with batteries the lights are bright and the volume is unaffected. Is this normal? I haven't recapped it yet. Thanks in advance.

I suppose that the reason is the following one : There is a default in the power adapter which makes the voltage go down as soon as some current is demanded.

Or the power adapter is not strong enough and another power adapter would probably work better.

Yes, that is probably the cause. Because the adapter is made for 220v and i'm using it (with a special adapter without a step up transformer) with 120v. I'll see if i can find or make a proper step up transformer.  Thank you very much sir.
