scott-radi: Scott Musicale Amplifier - Year of manufacture

The assumed vintage cannot be 1947 because the device contains a triple diode 6BJ7. This tube only came onto the market in 1954 (see advertising in the supplement). The device was therefore probably produced in 1954 at the earliest.

The Admiral 30A14-N is 1948. A 10″ TV. I'm not sure what the diference are with the Admiral 30A14 (1949 +/- 1 year) which lists a 6BJ7.

One news item in a magasine isn't conclusive. Though 6BJ7 is listed as 05.Feb.1954 : Electron Tube Registration List 1227.
I wonder was it for AM vision and FM sound detection?

What year was the Photofact Folder, Howard W. SAMS (Vol.5 8/48 4814-20 Set 44 Folder 20)?
