The World Record Super 9 was first advertised in the November 1925 Radio Age magazine. This is a kit set, which used Thordarson audio transformers, Carter rheostats, Benjamin tube sockets, Sangamo condensers and a Jewell “double reading” panel meter. The first set described in the $5 plan book also used Remler IF transformers. Scott later sold matching IF transformers under his "Selectone" name.
