What is the process for obtaining permission to download a photo (Silvertone 1660)?  I did search the forums but did not find documentation.  I would like to download the photo and lighten it with Photoshop so the knob details and other details can be seen.  Personally, I always allow printing and downloading photos that I have uploaded (IF I REMEMBER!).  Thanks.

Dear Dave
Any member can jsut click the "middle sized picture" and then the server sends it in the maximum format the uploading member has made it. We recommend strongly 933 pixels width and up to 1400 pixels hight.

You then can either do a print screen or to get it from your download file.
Then you can work with it - for your own purpose only.

We do strongly advise to not allow printing and downloading, since that means that every guest can do so. Never do that in case it is not your own picture. If it is your own, please don't, because they then automatically will get feet ... Radiomuseum.org should keep its assets for the time when I can't pay anymore the big difference between cost and what we receive with one time fees and google ads.

Here we have a case of a foreign picture - our member must have asked "antiqueradios" and such permission is just to pubilish it here and protect it from guests - therefore "middle sized pictures" with a watermark! We have to protect any picture - also the ones from our members and regard ourselves not having the copyright. It stays with the uploader!

I must admit that sometimes we are asked if somebody may receive and publish a certain picture - with reference to us - and normally I help for such - without first asking members. But I would never give away a picture of foreign source!

It is also not allowed for our members to pinch pictures from other websites - except from selling points like eBay - and then giving a clear reference to the auction and seller. In case the seller is telling us to delete such pictures, we do so. We first tell them our situation and about our goals for the benefit of all interested and all collectors - and ask for a proposal for a caption. Normally we get a good understanding, but sometimes somebody wants deletion and we follow that immediately.
