Dear Mietek,
I think this has what in U/K we call the "Magnoval"
base, though it would help if you could provide some dimensions
such as diam. (thickness) of pins and diameter of circle the pins
describe.
There was an American base identical, except pins were thinner
(Novar) I think.
I have a few "Magnoval" bases, though someone like Jan would
no doubt provide if you told him it was for a 6L50, see ----
http://www.askjanfirst.com/eindex.htm  no doubt other shops, too.
Let us know the dimensions to get correct base type and it can
be added to RMorg archives.
Regards,
                     John Turrill.

On further investigation, I am fairly sure the 6L50 is not the
"Magnoval" as I first thought; the dimensions on the data sheet
provided by Jaques Dudoret would indicate a much larger base
diameter - see also the photos in RMorg - I would still suggest
contacting the link I gave; if the worst comes to the worst, they
also supply various sizes of individual pin sockets, enabling
making up your own sockets, (precise marking-out required!!!)
Many years ago I made one up to suit an EL12, with success!

dimensions available here)

Good luck,

Dears,

Thanks a lot for your help, data for the tube itself I had already, as I have Vademecum and Czech tubes catalogue.

Tube is nice and in data similar to 6L6.  Re-engineered for TV sweep circuits. As I ocassionally buy almost 100 pcs of 6L50 and few 6Y50 the only problem I have is to obtain few sockets.

You are right tube socket is not a magnoval. Pins are 1.25 mm thick spread on 25 mm ring of 36 o each.

Mietek
