This radio also exists with a Mullard transistor lineup - I don't have the details but you can see Mullard transistors in the image uploaded by Michael Watterson.

I have one with the Ediswan set.

The SPE002448 has "top hat" style transistors. Ediswan?
The SPE009065 has the more common glass style but with a plastic or rubber sleeve. Mullard?

R&TVS 1962 -1963 page 128 lists XA102, XA101, XB113, XC171, XC171 and an unnamed diode.

From 1935 to 1939 most of the Ever Ready valves were Mullard. From 1945 to the end all the Ever Ready Valves were Mullard. Many Ever Ready transistor models do use Mullard parts. Note that from 1928 Mullard were really Philips. Some Mullard/Philips valves used by Ever Ready seem to have been rebased/differently based US imports.

The Ever Ready models listed in the 1963-1964 R&TVS, Skylark and Sky Master, appear to be using Mullard type part numbers.

It's possible it was a question of availability till 1962. My 1960 Sky Baron uses the Ediswan "Top Hat" parts as does the 1959 Sky Personal, though the 1958 Sky Leader uses Mullard style OC parts.
