Wave switch

Hello everyone!
I have these two radios, one works fine, the other one's wave switch doesn't click (you have to keep it pressed all the time). But I don't see the reason for the error. I don't see any modifications to the structure, does anyone know this switch? Does anyone have any specific suggestions, photos, etc. about this problem?

There is a latch clip [ that is under a spring flap at each switch. Check the springy flap hasn't come loose and allowed the clip to rise or fall out. One end of the clip is in the body and the other end is engaged in a track with J shape in the shaft of the moving part of switch and wiggles. A bar goes across so that the latch is released when any other switch is operated, unless it's a tone switch (latches) or AFC switch (usually no latch) which isn't reset by the main transverse bar with spring clip at the end.

In principle, the matter is clear to me too.
The device does not look like a DIY and used device, which is why the problem is strange.
I do not see the spring latches anywhere.
However, I suspect that this part is at the junction of the push button pins and the switch strips. Namely, with some "unique" plastic solution, since there is a factory cut at the end of the rod where the latch can connect. The latch could either have become dusty, worn out, or stuck in its housing (rail).
