The WR-682A seems to be a direct copy of the RCA BP-10 radio. How and why Westinghouse copied the RCA is not known.

I think Westinghouse then close to RCA and made a lot of RCA tubes too and probably other models.
What is stranger is the UK Ever Ready "Personal B" rebadge of the similar Marconiphone 1947 version of the BP10 concept but initially using Mazda tubes (Dx91 etc tubes the following year) rather than the same RCA tubes as Marconiphone/HMV was closely associated with RCA then. Yet I have a later Vidor with the RCA tubes.
