I have recently purchased an early Wurlitzer Lyric C-4. Rider's says the early C-4 doesn't have short wave. On the bottom of mine, in the lower left-hand corner it reads "C4L." Should I enter it on the C4 listing or create its own as the early model?

If your radio is marked C4L, then it deserves it own model page, where the remarks shall read:
BC only. There is also a later model C4, which features BC and SW.
Put into the variant field BC only as well.
The words "early" and "late" are never found on a model. That is not useful. How could you know to search for?
Good luck!
