- This cartridge play-only machine is housed in a finished walnut cabinet with a built-in speaker and auxiliary microphone input. Cantata 700" prerecorded 1/4" tape cartridges were available in various musical styles for the well-heeled household or executive suite. The tape cartridge is bi-level, closed-loop, 1/4- track mono on 8" reels, permanently housed in the cartridge.
