Admiral model 5E22 is an AC-DC operated superheterodyne receiver. The SAMS Photofact lists the following Admiral models for the same chassis: 5E21 (color = ebony), 5E22 (mahagony) and 5E23 (ivory) with chassis 5E2. The models have a built in loop antenna and differ only in color.
