- SAMS Photofact date 4-61, set 527, folder 3 has the same schematic for Admiral models Y853C (color = white) with chassis 5B5C and models Y865B (melon and white) and Y866B (yellow and white) with chassis B5B. These models are AC operated 5 tube AM receivers with electric clock where everything is the same except color but model 853C has no "Snooze Alarm" and "Sleep Switch". Both chassis, 5B5B and 5B5C, are very similar to chassis 5B5 which is covered on page 5, of Vol. 20, 1960 Beitman Radio Diagrams manual, and these instructions may be used for alignment and chassis removal. The models have a ferrite loop antenna.
