  • Notes
  • This B4B5 Signal Generator is a later model as the Advance B4A. It is also an AM/CW RF signal generator, which covers frequencies from 100 kHz to 30 MHz in six bands (instead of 100 kHz to 80 MHz of the B4A). Accuracy within ± 1 % is given. The modulation can be internal (400 Hz) or external (10 Hz to 30 kHz). A meter on the front panel monitors either the modulation or the RF amplitude.

On the B4B5 the original 2 pole mains power connector has been updated for reasons of safety. Modulation level is 0 - 80 %. Un-terminated output voltage is 300mV. Output impedance is 75 ohms. Both RF output and AF input/output are via "Pye" sockets on the front panel. The original colour is "pale yellow".
