As originally released, this model was fitted with metal-envelope valves & the chassis type number was 516. Later an alternative receiver using an identical circuit but with standard glass valves was released under model 568 and the chassis designated 526. A slightly different set of operating voltages applies for the later model. However apart from this the schematics are identical.
