  • Notes
  • The Knight 94 SX 426 is a two-band three-way portable with a circuit very similar to the Zenith Transoceanic complete with the 1L6 tube, thus considered a "clone" of the Transoceanic.  This radio appears to be identical to the Airline GSL-1079-ASonora 604Firestone 4-C-30, and nearly identical to the Roland 71-384.   All may have been manufactured by OEM Mitchell Manufacturing because the very similar Mitchell 1287 Adventurer was the first to appear in Sams Photofact (March 1955). See also article 'Invasion of the 2 band Transoceanic Clones, Whodunit?' in February 2018 'The Spectrum Monitor' magazine.  Mitchell also was the known OEM for some other Knight-branded products.
