Allied Radio Knight-kit model TR-106 transceiver is specified as 15 watts input power for RF (RF output power not specified but estimated at 8 to 9 watts). Uses a Nuvistor front end. Dual conversion. The power supply is built in and uses silicon diodes in a doubler circuit. Crystal control or VFO with 6 times multiplication. Example; 8.4 MHz crystal yields 50.4 MHz output. Review of the Knight TR-106 (and V-107 VFO) is in the August 1966 edition of '73' magazine.
