  • AWA Radiola Model P1 "Marconi"

    An 11" portable TV receiver having twin telescopic aerials; printed circuit board and AWA neutrode tuner. Cabinet colours: front glacier blue, phosphor grey, matt black; Back: Caspian blue.

    Features: tuner is TB series neutrode No. 45051. Picture tube, Super Radiotron Type 11TP4, having electrostatic focus, 110º deflection.

    Chassis: three separate items, comprising vertical chassis containing horizontal output stages and HT filter unit; horizontal chassis containing the tuner, vertical output transformer, power transformer and fuse; printed circuit board containing the remainder of the circuitry. All interconnecting leads to it, with the exception of the IF lead, are of the plug-on type.

    The board may be swung back 90º for ease of service without removing the interconnecting leads. If the leads are removed, the board will swing back 180º and may be completely removed from horizontal and vertical assembly.

    Loudspeaker is 6" x 2" (MSP 50235-62LB/15); undistorted audio output, 440 mW.

    Controls: front-mounted on-off/volume; brightness, channel selector; rear: external aerial, fine tuning, horizontal hold, contrast, vertical hold. Twin aerials are top mounted. Power supply: 240-250V AC, 50 Hz. Power consumption 120W. (FROM MINGAY'S PRICE SERVICE)
