  • Notes
  • This model was a portable radio which, when inserted into a special under-dash cradle, became a car radio.  When used as a car radio, it was connected to the car's aerial, power and separate speaker.  The power output was increased and the internal Nickel Cadmium battery charged from the car battery.  The cradle contained a third stage of audio amplification (2N301).  The cradle had a polarity changeover switch so it could be used in vehicles with either a positive or negative chassis.
