AWA Radiola Model 224
A 21" lowboy TV receiver having aluminised 110° electrostatic-focus tube, 19 valves and one germanium diode. Cabinet finished in maple, walnut or rose mahogany. Features: aerial input 300 ohm; 10-channel incremental tuner; three video and one sound IF, two video amplifier stages; gated AGC; synchroguide circuit; noise cancellation circuit; audio output 3 watts. Speakers: two 4" and two 6" x 9". Vertical chassis; chassis and tube removable as one unit. Simplified tube mounting.
Controls: side-mounted-concentric channel selector/fine tuning; single tone, on-off, volume, brightness, contrast. Secondary controls (excluding RF and IF adjustments) rear-vertical hold; rear preset-horizontal hold, AGC threshold, AGC division, focus, height, vertical linearity, horizontal drive, horizontal linearity, width, noise cancellation.
