  • Notes
  • This model was a portable radio which, when inserted into a special under-dash cradle, became a car radio.  When used as a car radio, it was connected to the car's aerial, power and separate speaker.  The power output was increased to 1.5 watts and the internal Nickel Cadmium batteries charged from the car battery.  The supplied car speaker was elliptical; 7 x 5 inch.  The cradle had a polarity changeover switch so it could be used in vehicles with either a positive or negative chassis.
