  • Notes
  • This model was a portable radio which, when inserted into a special under-dash cradle, became a car radio.  When used as a car radio, it was connected to the car's aerial, power and separate speaker.  The power output was increased to 2.5 watts undistorted and the internal Nickel Cadmium battery charged from the car battery.  The cradle contained a third stage of audio amplification (2N301).

This model was specifically made for the Ford Falcon model XL.  The car speaker originally supplied with the cradle was elliptical; 7" x 5".
