  • 6 Valve, AC powered, Screen Grid, TRF Receiver with Linear Power Detection and one stage of pentode audio amplification.

    Chassis:
    The chassis has a phonograph input and selector switch on the rear.
    Later production chassis used a split RF choke and additional filter capacitors in the detector stage.
    Mains voltage selection was by moving a fuse under a cover on the rear of the chassis.

    Imported from Australia.
    Chassis also used in the Australian version 55E C89.

    Cabinet:
    Console style cabinet with tuning, tone and volume controls on the front panel.
    Cabinet by F. Dickin Ltd (Normally with legs).
