AWA Radiola 212C
A 21" full-skirt console TV receiver with concealed Shepherd castors; has 90° aluminised electrostatic-focus tube (21ALP4A) plus 16 valves.
Features: Aerial input 300Ω; switched tuner with cascade circuit receives 10 channels; three-stage video IF amplifier, high level contrast control; peak level AGC; stabilised vertical hold; AFC horiz. hold, "Auto-lock" sync. Audio output 3W. Speaker: 9" x 6" and 7" x 5". Power consumption 180W. Aerial panel mounted on chassis.
Operating controls: channel selector/fine tuning, tone/on-off/volume, brightness, contrast and vertical hold. Technicians' controls: height, vertical linearity, horiz. hold (screwdriver adjustments under front trim), horiz. drive, horiz. linearity, width, AGC and focus (rear chassis).
