RMA900 Series 60 Voice Channel Telephone Link.
The equipment provided 900mHz radio, 60 voice channel communication links in rural telephone networks, on pipeline projects and in support of major utilities such as power and rail authorities. Repeaters were used to extend the lengths over longer distances.
The basic system comprised a 900 mHz transmitter, diplexer, and receiver at each end.
The system could be expanded for transmitter and receiver redundancy.
It could also be optioned for frequency diversity or space and frequency diversity links with baseband combing.
In all configurations a Technicians communication telephone (Order Wire) was proved in a sub-baseband channel
