The Skyphone VC-10 was designed to be fitted to aircraft for communication on 118.1 to 125.5 MHz with 10 channels.
Transmit output power was 1.5 W on all channels.
Audio output was 3 W.
The transceiver was connected to a remote control unit (VC-10-R) for channel control, headphones or speaker.
Available for 14 V or 28 V power supply.
The HT for both versions is derived from a DC-DC Converter using germanium transistors.
