AWA Radiola P4 "Telstar"
17" portable TV receiver featuring "Tribrid" circuitry containing a combination of valves, transistors and an integrated circuit. The actual compliment is eight valves (inc. picture tube), nine transistors, eight diodes and one integrated circuit, which in turn contains 12 transistors, 12 diodes and 15 resistors.
Features: Sound system containing the integrated circuit gives bigger, better sound under all conditions. The sound itself bounces off the deflection channel mounted on top of the cabinet; this audio deflector also acts as an on/off switch; when closed the deflector blends into the cabinet contours. Large thumb-wheel channel selector. Twin telescopic aerials. easy portability, handle disappears completely. AC operated. Colours: Wedgewood Blue, Shell White, GT Gold, Alpine White.
