The American Beauty is typical of the 1925 to 1926 manufacturing style of TRF receivers built by companies that weren't members of the Independent Radio Manufacturers and therefore couldn't legally build neutrodynes.
By 1927 it could have a UX112A with half of the cathode current than the UX112, but not before.
The circuit uses two standard TRF amplifiers, a Detector, two stages of RC coupled Audio Amplification, and one stage of transformer-coupled Audio Amplification - six tubes in all.
