  • Notes
  • Ampro Models 755 and 756 Tape Recorders incorporate push button controls for the functions: Record, Fast Forward, Rewind, Play, Stop. Actual control is achieved by means of solenoid actuated mechanisms.

The two models, 755 and 756, are alike in basic design, the differences being that Model 755 is designed for a tape velocity of 3 3/4 I.P.S. and the amplifier is equalized for that tape characteristic, whereas Model 756 is designed for a tape velocity of 7 1/2 I.P.S. and is equalized accordingly. Both models are designed to record and play back two tracks of material on standard recording tape, which doubles the playing time with no loss of frequency response or quality.
