  • Notes
  • Amroh model WW Balanssuper Meteoor (version 1949) is equipped with Minicore tuning coil unit type 236. See also the versions Meteoor early 1951 and Meteoor late 1951, main difference being the wave bands, tubeset and IF.

These models are part of Amroh's Pin-Up chassis series.

The expression "Multi-octaaf weergave" relates to the M.F. amplifier with 3 different tuning frequencies with the M.F. detector at 471 kHz. Because of this, the term "WW" (in Dutch "werkelijkheidsweergave") is used because the Meteoor's M.F. is wider (broadband) than in standard superhets.

Instead of the EF50 (S=6.5 mA/V), the EF42 or the EF51 (both with S=9.5 mA/V) can be used. It is recommended to shield this R.F. amplifier from other parts using 4 cm high metal screens.
