  • Shape
  • Tablemodel, Tombstone = decorative upright, not cathedral but can have rounded edges.
  • Notes
  •  This is a very rare model patented in London by G.G. Andia in 1923. It depicts the statue of Buddha in prayer. The gramophone is entirely constructed with a mixture of stucco, jute, and papier-mâché. The inside of the belly acts as a trumpet. The recomposed statue contains the arm, player, crank, and all the mechanical parts.

Original description by Nino Ciravegna and Fermo Galbiati† from "I Grammofoni" on the model photo.

Horn assembly is similar to the Chinese Scribe model.
